This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage 1950s pattern to make doll clothes for your Shirley Temple Doll. I have this pattern available in a variety of sizes, so please be sure that you are buying the right one. This auction is for the 19" tall doll. So, this pattern will fit dolls with measurements that are similar to a 9-1/4" chest.<br>This pattern makes a whole wardrobe including a formal dress, nautical dress with coat and hat, party dress and hat, drawstring top, petal pusher pants, shortie pajamas, bra and half slip. In 1934 a young girl named Shirley Temple had her first movie role. Audiences loved her and she starred in movie after movie all with happy endings, a much needed diversion from the difficult economic times. In the 1930s, the Ideal Toy Company started making composition Shirley Temple dolls. Again in the late 1950s they made Shirley Temple dolls, this time made from vinyl. The vinyl dolls were made in sizes: 12", 15", 17" & 19". I have a large assortment of patterns available for all of these sized dolls.<br>This pattern was originally created Jan 2, 1959.
